The product is easy to install indoors with an ambient temperature of 5°C-55°C.

Installation Notes

1. Installation of heat meters

The installation site should avoid flooding, sun exposure, freezing and pollution, and facilitate disassembly and meter reading.

Thoroughly clean the system piping before installation and remove the debris in the pipe so as not to cause the flowmeter to malfunction.

The meter can be mounted horizontally or vertically, ensuring that the display window data is easy to read.

(4) The direction of water flow should be consistent with the arrow on the flow meter, and the flow direction of water flow must be upward when installed vertically.

(5) Before and after the diameter of the pipe to be consistent with the diameter of the flowmeter, and the front of the inlet straight pipe should not be less than 10 times the pipe diameter, the outlet pipe at the front end should not be less than 5 times the pipe diameter.

(6) A dirt filter should be installed at the inlet end of the heat meter, and shutoff valves should be provided at both ends to facilitate the removal of dirt and maintenance and replacement.

(7) The heat meter can be installed on the inlet or return pipe (pre-selected) according to the actual situation. It is recommended to install the inlet pipe.

(8) It is recommended to configure a dedicated hot meter box for management.

(9) When the installation space of the heat meter is limited and the environment is poor, we recommend using a split meter.

(10) The installation process should be carried out gently to prevent damage to the instrument.

(11) After installation, seals shall be made between the connection nut and the heat meter of the inlet and outlet of the heat meter and between the temperature measuring ball valve and the temperature sensor.

2. Temperature sensor installation

When the heat meter is installed in the water inlet pipe: The temperature sensor with red label should be installed on the temperature measuring hole of the heat meter body, and the temperature sensor with blue label should be installed on the temperature measuring seat dedicated to the return pipe.

When the heat meter is installed in the return pipe: The temperature sensor with the red tag should be installed on the dedicated temperature measuring seat for the inlet pipe. The temperature sensor with the blue tag should be installed on the temperature measuring hole of the heat meter body.

Temperature sensor wires must not be arbitrarily increased or decreased.

Installation and maintenance methods

1. Select the water meter diameter should be based on the diameter of the installation site and the size of the flow to select the appropriate diameter of the water meter.

2. The installation location should be chosen where it is convenient to disassemble and read meter data, and should avoid exposure to the sun, rain, flooding, pollution, and external magnetic interference.

3. When installing, avoid the introduction of hemp, tape, sand and other debris into the water meter pipeline, causing metering failures.

4. When installing, the valve should be installed on the pipeline in front of the water meter so that the water source can be turned off when the water meter is disassembled.

5. This series of water meters should be installed horizontally, with the dial face up, and the water flow indicator on the case should be consistent with the flow direction.

6. If the water meter is installed in the boiler or solar water heater inlet pipe, it should prevent the backflow of hot water causing damage to the water meter.
